Back to School

My monkeys went back to school last week - reluctantly.  There was a lot of whining and a little screaming involved.  We also celebrated a milestone birthday over the weekend.  My oldest son turned 13.  Thirteen!  I NOW HAVE A TEENAGER LIVING IN MY HOUSE.  I'm praying that karma really isn't a bitch because I was the worst. teenager. ever.

Anyway, back to school time also means it's time to get ready for holiday sales.  I've been making Christmas stockings, felt & silk ornaments, large flower pins, and new fall & winter Felt Fuzzies.  I'll post the pics soon!

Pin cushions!

I use a lot of stick pins and needles in my line of work.  Occasionally, a stray pin or needle will find its way to the floor and attack my feet.  Vicious little beasts.  Anyway, I made some pretty rose-shaped pin cushions to show those pins and needles who's boss.  And now you can buy some of your very own.

Custom Orders

I had to stop accepting custom order requests a while back because they became too overwhelming.  It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm for my Fuzzies though!  I just wish I was able to keep up with you crazy Feltizens.

Who knows what the future will bring?  Perhaps I'll eventually be able to find some minions who can put Edward Scissorhands to shame to join me.  In the meantime, I will continue to do my best and come up with new Fuzzies to add to our catalog.

Felt 'shrooms...

Our red and green Mushroom Fuzzies need no longer feel alienated by the other fruits and veggies occupying the Farmer's Market category.  Now they have a fungi collective...

Water + Felt = Underwater Friends

After making the Blue Whale Fuzzi, I decided to continue the 'creatures that live in water' theme and make a whole category dedicated to our "Underwater Friends."

I’ve been a bad, bad blogger.

I have broken the cardinal rule of webworking, neglecting to update my blog on a regular basis.  They (and by they, I mean people smarter than I) call a website's blog its mothership.  Instead, I have been busy running a business, raising kids, and going to college.  Oh, and goofing off on Facebook.  *_*  You see?  I've been bad.

My self-imposed punishment is to go through all of my [fairly] recent new listings and happenings and write a little ditty for each and every one.  Hang on tight... there's gonna be a ton of posts hitting the Net over the next few days until I've caught up on the ever-moving 'here and now'.  Woo hoooo!
